South Africa VS New Zealand 2nd Test

2nd Test: South Africa VS New Zealand @ St George's Park, Port Elizabeth

This test provides New Zealand with an opportunity to establish some credibility after their horrendous performance in the 1st Test. After being bowled out for 45 the New Zealand batsmen need to stand up and build their innings.

In relation to the teams Philander is out for South Africa due to a hamstring injury and is replaced by Rory Kleindvelt. For New Zealand Franklin is also out with a hamstring, thereby handing Colin Munro his first cap. Neil Wagner or Bruce Martin will come into the side for Chris Martin, ultimately depending on whether they decide to play a second spinner or not.

Hopefully New Zealand can put up more a fight in this match, and with the absence of Philander will assist them in this. South Africa will be hoping for a complete performance to clean sweep the series 2-0.
